Cool as Ice

They call Matt Ryan of the Falcons "Matty Ice", but what about Stafford? For the second week in a row, Stafford lead a game winning touchdown drive when the Dawgs were behind in the 4th quarter. This game wasn't pretty, but should go down as another one of Stafford's great moments at Georgia.

We suck. It's official now.

God help us if both Knowshon & Matt leave after this year.

I love the Dawgs, but we have to be the absolute worst 9-2 team in the country. I just hope we can "win ugly" one more time in '08. I hate to lose to The Techies!

I agree. Like the Senator wrote over at his blog, this team looks like it has won 9 games on sheer athletic talent. The penalties were killing me and once again, after taking the lead in the 4th, we kick the ball off out of bounds and hand the ball to Auburn at the 40.

The one positive thing from the game on Saturday: we stopped Kodi Burns from doing much damage on the ground. At least the defense learned something in practice this week that will be useful against Tech. Now, they just need to teach Reshad Jones how to tackle.

Y'all know you should have lost. That damn ref missed that pass interference call in the back of the end zone and even EPSN noticed! I'm not saying Auburn played well, but UGA sure didn't play like a 9-2 team.

Streit, 2006 in Auburn was one of Stafford's better moments, not 2008. Unbelievable.

Say what you will about Stafford in the loss to Florida, but without him this team is 6-5 right now. Sure he may rely on his arm more than we like and rarely hits the deep play action pass, but I got to believe with anyone else behind center we would be happy to get to Shreveport at this point.
