Last week just prior to the draft, AJ Green celebrated his future career in the NFL by purchasing a new Porsche. In honor of AJ's new ride, this week's vidoe is Billy Ocean's 1988 hit "Get out of my dreams, get into my car." The video, in true 80's fashion includes animations. The "car" in the video is even a Porsche.

BNE's Music Video of the Week: The Masters Edition
In honor of The Masters this weekend, I present a video from the early 90's about two guys riding around the city playing golf. From their 1994 album, Without a Sound, here's Dinosaur Jr. with "Feel the Pain":

Random 80's Music Videos - Oingo Boingo
Here's a surprisingly great quality video (despite the song misspelling) for Oingo Boingo's "Weird Science" (You'll recognize it as the theme song for the awesome John Hughes film of the same name).
Great band that inspired one of my favs of all time. Surprising how many people have never heard of them despite Danny Elfman's success as a film composer.

Random 80's Music Videos - REO Speedwagon (Valentine's Edition)
Here some awesomely bad power ballads (that sound exactly the same) from the piano power ballad kings REO Speedwagon.
Here's "Keep on Loving You" and "Can't Fight This Feeling."

80's Music Video of the Week, X-mas Edition - Hall & Oates
I missed yesterday's, so I'll make it up tomorrow.
However, here is the real Christmas Day gem.
Here's Hall and Oates' video and rendition of "Jingle Bell Rock."
It's absurd like every Hall and Oates video, but just to the next level. I love John Oates green sweater, it'd look good with some leather pants.
Also, here's a clip of Beavis and Butt-Head making fun of the video. Geraldo, hehe.

80's Music Video of the Week, X-mas Edition - Wham!
I feel like spreading Christmas joy everyday, so I'm going to do videos through Christmas Day (and the one of Christmas Day is fabulous).
There's nothing that will top Run-D.M.C.'s "Christmas In Hollis," but this lame ski resort Christmas video is retarded enough to be entertaining.
Plus it is by Wham!, although there's not any short-shorts worn by men in the video (likely a relief to you all).
Here is "Last Christmas" by Wham!

80's Music Video of the Week, X-mas Edition - RUN-D.M.C.
Here's Run-D.M.C.'s, "Christmas in Hollis."
Classic. Merry Christmas.

80's Music Video of the Week - Starship
Just because I felt like giving you what is arguably the worst song ever written, but one of the best 80's videos you will find. Maximum cheeseness. Just blatant overuse of blue screens, bad graphics, mullets galore (and literally every type of mullet), being in fucking space!, and there's just too much to name.
Here is Starship's, "We Built This City."
The youtube title is wrong, the group was called Starship at this point because of legal issues.

80's Music Video of the Week - Talking Heads
"Once In A Lifetime" by Talking Heads.
If you don't like this song, and you don't like Talking Heads, then you're missing out on everything that's good in life. I feel sorry for you.

80's Music Video of the Week - BLACK FLAG
It's a bye week, I'm not traveling, just 16 hours of college football on my couch, watching the tube.
Here's Black Flag's, "TV Party."

80's Music Video of the Week - Tom Petty
Here's Tom Petty's 1989 solo hit, "I Won't Back Down." Youtube says its with the Heartbreakers, but it's not. Although, you some of the Traveling Wilbury's supergroup members are in the video (such as George Harrison).
Also Ringo Starr cameo on the skins. This was in his ponytail era.
Love the terrible green screens throughout the video. 80's classic.

80's Music Video of Last Week - Billy Joel
Sorry for the laziness, here's some Billy Joel. Probably the best A Capella video ever made, great tribute to the doo-w0p era.

80's Music Video of the Week, 2 for 1: Ozzy & Mike + The Mechanics
Short on time this week, but we do have two wonderful selections for you since there's been an absence of videos stemming from our trip to Colorado.
Your get two treats today come from a metal god and pop/soft rock all-stars of the 1980's:
Ozzy Osbourne's 1983 hit, "Bark At The Moon," (fitting for this weekend's coronation).
Mike + The Mechanics 1986 gem, "All I Need Is A Miracle," (fitting, given our performance this year).

80's Music Video of the Week - New Edition
If I had a Top 10 80's music video list, this would definitely be a part of it. Hell, maybe even Top 5!
It's got love on the court, love on the lake (where's there a lake in NYC?), and drama on the stoop.
I love dated things that make videos awesome, like acid washed jeans. Here, it is jheri curls and Ralph Tresvant's shag (or sometimes referred to as a jheri/black mullet, but I think it's more similar to rat tails that were popular in the 80's).
Here's New Edition's 1984 hit, "Cool It Now."
Check out hard ass 15 year old Bobby Brown keepin' it real with his giant forehead and gold chains.

80's Music Video of the Week - Rick Astley
Thanks to the rick-rolling phenomenon, Rick Astley has become a household name again.
However, too many people forget that Astley was not a one hit wonder, for the man had four Top 10 hits in the U.S. Two of those were #1 hits, including this weeks gem, "Together Forever."
Talk about 80's, this video has it all. Those great neon 80's color schemes, music that sounds like all his other songs, turtlenecks with sport coats, blondes dancing in the background, and it has Rick Astley! You can't get more 80's than that.

80's Music Video of the Week - EDDIE MONEY
First off, nothing beats Eddie Money. Nothing.
As my good friend Ronnie Brown (not the Auburn one) says, "Play me some of that EDDIE MONEEEEEEY!!!!!!!!!"
Because of the awesomeness that is Eddie Money, he has many awesome videos and it was hard to choose one.
The 1982 hit, "Think I'm in Love" is amazing, and the video is ten times better.
VAMPIRES, Eddie Money as Dracula (or so you think), Eddie Money's retarded monkey faces, and the nonsensical shift from the absurd plot to Eddie Money playing in your high school's auditorium. These are the things that make this video one ridiculous concept and therefore, top of the line!
If you look closely at his band in the video, there are 2 certified mullets, one borderline mullet, and one potential mullet (give it a month).
Rock out on your Friday. Remember what Ronnie sang...
