I think we have a chance to see some very exciting football this coming season and I have a feeling he'll be a big part of it!alex gibbshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02945797803451684964noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3247285936644048047.post-62563104474572938082010-07-01T09:55:36.496-04:002010-07-01T09:55:36.496-04:00I had a post like this rolling around in my head f...I had a post like this rolling around in my head for while, but never penned it. I'm glad I didn't because you guys did it much better than I could have.

I believe in Murray's ability to lead our team on the field. I even think people assumed he would be the starter all along. But they started getting antsy when they realized Mettenberger wouldn't be there to back him up should he get hurt or have a "Matthew Stafford VS Colorado" style meltdown. Then talks of Logan Grey transferring lit the wick on a crazy candle.

I'm with you guys, "Georgia fans need to remember the excitement we had when he committed..."

2010 looks to be a good year for Georgia football.Mackiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16936918113198252525noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3247285936644048047.post-60938732270862164382010-07-01T08:13:59.615-04:002010-07-01T08:13:59.615-04:00I see the situation kind of like 2005 when Shockle...I see the situation kind of like 2005 when Shockley was to start his senior year. He had a bad game against Georgia Tech the previous year. Then he made a few bad throws and poor decisions in the spring game. We were heading into the opener against Boise State. Shockley got 5TD's in that game and the Dawgs won the SECC.

We are going to be just fine with Murray running the show.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3247285936644048047.post-915282066785170282010-06-30T17:15:18.438-04:002010-06-30T17:15:18.438-04:00Well said, Murray is a stud. Of course UGA is missing a proven and solid defense, but both teams had a great O line, and very talented running backs and receivers. Many similarities can be said about McElroy and Murray.

It can truly be a great season if Murray simply limits his mistakes and makes good plays and decisions when necessary, much like McElroy did last year.CSAnoreply@blogger.com
